A thorough and comprehensive training and safety program provide the skills our associates need to be successful.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nAverage Hours: 45 hours per week\nStarting Salary: $80,000 per year\nSalary Increases: Year 2 $85,000 | Year 3 - $90,000\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMust be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAssesses, establishes and ensures appropriate warehouse staffing levels.\nRecruits, selects, promotes, manages, develops and terminates associates and Operations supervisors to retain a motivated and professional workforce.\nManages the relationships with on-site partner companies, analyzes and communicates operational change concerns to ensure acceptable standards.\nWorks with direct reports to develop and implement action plans that will improve operating results.\nCommunicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their team to assure mutual understanding of desired results.\nModels the company strategy as well as communicates the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.\nEnsures the service provided by 3rd party partner companies and vendors meets acceptable standards and a desirable working environment.\nProvides feedback and resolves issues with the management of 3rd party partner companies and vendors to ensure desired service expectations are achieved.\nWorks cooperatively with peers and divisional departments to communicate relevant information in a timely and effective manner.\nReviews and analyzes the competitive landscape within the community and keeps leadership informed of ALDI’s competitive position.\nCoordinates with direct reports in the recruitment and interviewing of applicants; confers with direct reports regarding advancement, discipline or discharge of personnel.\nDevelops and recommends changes to improve policies and procedures.\nSupervises the activities of warehouse personnel, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of day-to-day operations.\nMonitors the inspections of inbound and outbound deliveries, verifying proper receipt of product, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.\nOversees and manages the performance of direct reports relating to training, development, motivation, retention and discipline.\nManages supervisors to influence operating results, such as promoting a safe work environment, minimizing turnover, increasing efficiency and maximizing inventory goals.\nEnsures equitable treatment of warehouse personnel.\nAddresses complains promptly and appropriately across all warehouse departments and shifts.\nSupervises effective use of warehouse facility to ensure maximum utilization of space and equipment.\nOversees the achievement of warehouse controllable expenses;
