Procurement Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Procurement Coordinator to support our purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled negotiator with a strong understanding of supply chain principles, dedicated to building lasting supplier relationships, and adept at using technology to streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management: Process purchase orders (POs), track shipments, and expedite orders to meet project timelines and inventory needs.
Supplier Relations: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to secure the best pricing and quality.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and, if applicable, public sector regulations.
Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse teams, and prevent stockouts or overstock.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier data. Generate reports on KPIs, such as cost savings and vendor performance.
Issue Resolution: Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, invoices, and received goods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,874.40 - $63,676.70 per year
