Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for an entry level software engineer who shall be part of a team responsible for configuring, testing, characterizing, and optimizing various system networking components for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityFour (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux toolsExperience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processesRecent software development experience using PythonUnderstanding of basic parallel programming conceptsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containersFamiliar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and JenkinsExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Familiar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as SplunkFamiliar with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deploymentFamiliar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologiesExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)This position is open for direct hires only.
