This role is critical to our success, ensuring our instruments meet specifications before shipment, supporting customer installations, and providing ongoing technical service and support.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Shipment & Quality AssurancePerform electro-mechanical testing to ensure instruments meet required specificationsConduct optical setup and calibration on sensitive optical systemsInstall and configure computers and associated software systems for instrument operationParticipate in technical reviews for new product launches and beta testingCustomer Installation & SupportTravel to customer sites throughout the United States (25% domestic travel) to oversee installation and commissioningProvide hands-on training and knowledge transfer to ensure customer successTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely via phone, email, and videoMaintain clear, professional communication with customers across all mediaTeam & Process DevelopmentMentor and train other support representativesParticipate in our ISO 9001 certified quality management systemContribute to continuous product and process improvementsRequired QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of Windows operating systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics and wire diagramsExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiativeWillingness to travel domestically (~25%)
