The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following numerous and diverse duties and meet the education and experience requirements below.\nProvides security services twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week.\nPatrols and inspects the property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, terrorism, and illegal activity.\nProtect customer investments, control building access, deter criminal activity, and perform physical security checks of secure access areas.\nRestrict facility access to authorized personnel only.\nMaintain an activity log including patrol activities, anti-terrorism measures, fire alarms, and intrusion alarms.\nCapable of interpreting, comprehending, and implementing instructions, standard operating procedures, and personnel directives.\nCapable of utilizing telephone and radio communications to call for assistance from police, fire or emergency medical services as the situation dictates.\nMust maintain a professional appearance and attitude and interact well with others.\nAble to take charge and direct others in emergency situations and show good judgment.\nMust demonstrate good common sense; follow directions and directives from supervisors.\nThis position is shift work and will support second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.\nIn addition, the Security Response Assistant is required to meet the following criteria:\nAbility to multi-task under high-pressure circumstances\nProficient in Windows XP computer system\nConduct roving patrols (approximately one (1) mile of walking per patrol, approximately four (4) patrols per shifts.)\nConduct freight delivery inspections\nPerform FOD (Foreign Object Debris) detection and removal\nDevelop a working knowledge of government policy and procedures\nWilling to work in adverse weather conditions\nWorking knowledge of ESS (Electronic Security System): CCTV–Electronic Access Control System\nAbility to stand/walk for more than three (3) hours during assigned shift\nAbility to lift fifty (50) pounds and carry short distances\nWillingness to work shift work\nAvailable for twenty-four (24) hour recall\nWillingness to change shifts with limited notification\nWilling to adhere to Security Response Team procedures and directives to include uniform, personal appearance and courtesy directives\nAble to take, interpret and carry out orders/directives\nWilling to participate in continuing education and training courses\nDemonstrate oral and written (print and cursive) proficiency in the English language\nMust be able to pass a drug test and agree to participate in Precise System’s Random Drug Testing Program\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nPosition is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining the requisite Top Secret (TS) U.S. Security Clearance in a reasonable time. Further, candidates must be eligible for a Yankee White (YW) U.S. Security Clearance. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this position.\nEducation Requirement:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience Requirement:\nMinimum of three years of experience performing duties described in the functional description\nClean Driving Record: a motor vehicle record (MVR) with no more than one moving violation, at-fault or impaired infractions, or traffic-related convictions for 5 years\nCandidate must possess the ability to obtain a favorable Top Secret Security Clearance.
