We foster a compassionate environment by promoting excellence in service and a community of belonging with Christ-centered care.Summary Of PositionIn accordance with the mission and values of The Village of St. Edward, the Resident Assistant/STNA (Caregiver) provides for the personal care needs of residents and provides assistance and activities as delegated by the nurse.Requirements:High school education or equivalent Ohio State Tested Certified Nursing Assistant STNA (if hired as a STNA) Experience within assisted living facility preferred Reliable transportation Must be able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance.Possesses the necessary dexterity to feed, bathe, etc.Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles.Walks, stands, and sits intermittently throughout the day.Well-lighted, well-ventilated rooms and halls.Must understand infection control performance.Must be able to utilize therapeutic communication.Must communicate professionally and with empathy to residents, families, visitors and coworkersRequired to make independent decisions.Required to assist in response to emergency situations.State Tested Nursing Assistant, Assisted Living, Aide, CNA, STNA, memory care, Resident Assistant, Caregiver
