Field Solution Engineers must continually update their knowledge of products while developing various tools to support current and future platforms.\n\nMust live within territory area of Florida\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nMakes regularly scheduled sales calls on assigned customers in your territory\nBasic troubleshooting and installation on designated equipment\nDemonstrates products in person or remotely\nKeeps up to date on administrative responsibilities\nMaintains daily communications with customers and management team to ensure resolutions and proper follow-up\nIdentifies and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals and system sales\nPartners with AMSR’s and Regional Managers to develop sales plans and cloud-based opportunities within the territory\nOther daily tasks that may be required\nScope\nKnowledge of hardware install process and components\nProficient with software and programming vehicle configurations\nFamiliarity with cloud platform product and services along with AWS Cloud Services architecture\nUnderstanding of cloud security policies\nKnowledge of SaaS products and multi-tenant policies\nExperience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process\nExperience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns\nAbility to lead technical conversations with technical client resources in support of a sale\nProficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Apps and remote video conferencing\nExcellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner\nAbility and willingness to live within the assigned territory\nMinimum of 50% of time spent traveling the territory\nResourceful with the ability to work independently\nStrong time management skills\nAbility to adapt to changing circumstances\nDecision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills\nAttention to detail with the ability to multitask\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nTraining will be comprised of Company Mandatory Training, On-The-Job Training, and Off-site Training deemed necessary by Management.\nPhysical demands and abilities\nThe ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds\nTravel may include evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays\nWhelen reserves the right to move personnel between field locations to cover the workload\n\nAll Employees Shall\n\nComply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules\nand requirements\nReport to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may\nadversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards\nAttend scheduled EH&S training program\nActively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans\nRecommend improved EH&S practices\n\nMust be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third\nparties.
