Lead Advisor is a wealth management consulting and search firm. This role is for our client, a fast growing RIA in Greater Cleveland.Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the execution of the firm’s day-to-day operations.Core ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution & Process DisciplineEnsure all firm workflows are executed consistently, accurately, and on timeEnforce adherence to established processes and service standardsMonitor task completion, turnaround times, and operational performanceIdentify breakdowns in execution and escalate for resolution or redesignTeam Leadership & AccountabilityLead and manage the operations and client service teamSet clear expectations, roles, and performance standardsProvide training, coaching, and ongoing developmentFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and professionalismCapacity & Workflow ManagementMonitor team capacity and workload distributionIdentify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of strainEnsure appropriate resourcing to support firm growthPartner with leadership on hiring needs and role clarityService Quality & ConsistencyEnsure all client-related work is completed with accuracy and attention to detailMaintain consistency in how service is delivered across the firmPartner with the Director of Client Experience to ensure seamless execution behind the client experienceCross-Functional CoordinationAct as the bridge between:Data & Intelligence Lead (system design and automation)Advisory team (client needs and priorities)Client Experience (front-of-house execution)AdvisoryEnsure alignment and smooth execution across teamsVendor & Operational Issue ManagementServe as the first point of escalation for operational issuesCoordinate with custodians and vendors to resolve service-related challengesEnsure issues are addressed quickly and do not impact client experienceContinuous Improvement (Execution-Focused)Provide feedback on workflow effectiveness based on real-world executionPartner with the Data & Intelligence Lead to refine processes and improve efficiencyDrive incremental improvements in execution and team performanceBusiness Operations & Vendor CoordinationOwn the coordination and execution of key business operations, including:Employee benefits renewals and administrationBusiness insurance reviews and renewalsIT vendor coordination and service oversightCompliance coordination and documentation supportServe as the primary point of contact for vendors and external partnersEnsure timelines, deliverables, and service standards are metEscalate strategic decisions, risks, or gaps to the COOWhat Success Looks LikeWorkflows are followed consistently with minimal oversightThe operations team performs at a high level with clear accountabilityAdvisors experience minimal operational frictionService requests are completed accurately and on timeThe COO is rarely pulled into day-to-day executionThe firm scales without operational breakdownsWhat We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who leads through execution, discipline, and accountability.Core TraitsStrong operator with a bias for action and follow-throughHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailNatural leader who drives accountability and performanceCalm, solutions-oriented under pressureClear communicator who can align teams and expectationsHigh standards and commitment to excellenceExperience That Often SucceedsOperations or service team leadership in an RIA or professional services firmExperience managing teams responsible for execution and service deliveryBackground in environments that require precision, consistency, and accountability
