If you are detail-oriented in your craft and want to be part of a fun dynamic team, then Alyeska Resort is for you!\n\nWe’re looking for Groundskeeper professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska .\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Groundskeeper (Year‑Round) , you’ll play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and safety of our grounds, including landscaping, lawn care, facility upkeep, and more.\n\nSummer\n\nMow and trim all lawns.\n\nCut and prune trees as directed.\n\nAssist in maintenance of gardens.\n\nRepair potholes on resort roadways and parking lots.\n\nMaintain drainage ditches and runoff zones.\n\nSet up and tear down tents as needed for events.\n\nWinter\n\nSet up and assist in efficient parking at Daylodge parking lot.\n\nMaintain necessary signage to facilitate smooth traffic flow in all areas at Alyeska Resort.\n\nSand by hand or with sand truck as needed.\n\nMaintain barrels of sand for traction at building entries/exits.\n\nShovel/remove ice on walkways around hotel and other buildings.\n\nPlow parking lots and roadways with truck.\n\nOperate skid steer loader with snow blower on hotel pathways.\n\nClear snow as needed from roofs.\n\nDo daily inspection of all parking lots, sidewalks, roadways and building entry/exits for icy conditions.\n\nMiscellaneous\n\nMaintain clean workspace.\n\nTake responsibility for equipment and vehicles you operate.\n\nClean up trash around buildings, roadways and parking lots.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nStarting Wage: From $21 per hour\n\nEmployee Housing for a small fee live and play where you work\n\nFlexible work schedules\n\nPaid time off & holidays\n\nFree Mountain Pass for employees and qualified dependents\n\nEmployee discounts on resort lodging, dining, and spa services\n\nMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\n401(k)\n\nWhat We Need\n\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions.\n\nAbility to operate small equipment and vehicles, including sand and plow trucks.\n\nMust have valid driver’s license and ability to pass a D.O.T. physical.\n\nMust be able to lift and move up to 80 lbs. and push/pull up to 150 lbs.\n\nWhat To Expect\n\nBe on alert and at times, on your feet for long periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.\n\nWork in a fast‑paced, high‑energy resort environment.\n\nAdapt to seasonal changes around the resort and special events.\n\nPhysical demands: ability to lift up to 80 lbs., bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time.\n\nAbout Alyeska Resort\nAlyeska Resort is a world‑class destination nestled in the mountains of Girdwood, Alaska , just 45 minutes south of Anchorage.
