Here at Comfort Keepers self-care is important!Essential Duties:Assist male and female clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingAdminister medications and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionalsProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAssist with meal preparation and feedingPerform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up living spacesDrive clients to appointments or social outingsAssist with mobility and transfersImplement behavior management techniques as neededUtilize your smart phone to send texts and emails and to download and use apps to view care plans and record tasks and to send texts and emailsBenefits:Advance Pay!$18.00-$21.00/ hourWeekend Pay DifferentialPTO (Full-time & Part-time)Flexible ScheduleMileage Reimbursement when driving a clientAflac (Full-time & Part-time)24/7 Support from the Company and Office TeamQualifications:At least 18 years oldExperience as a caregiver for adults or nursing assistance training (or equivalent)Valid Driver's License and active Auto InsuranceReliable transportation and willing to drive personal vehicle for client transportationWilling to do personal cares for males and femalesCapable of lifting up to 25 poundsAbility to read, comprehend and clearly speak EnglishPossess and use a smartphone, which includes sending texts and emails, downloading and using Apps, and completing online trainingAble to function in a home setting with minimal direct supervisionHigh moral standards of honesty and integrityAbility to pass background checks, motor vehicle record check, reference checks, and TB screeningEngage clients in activities of interestFollow care plans and accurately document tasksWilling to drive up to 25 miles to a shiftPreferred Qualifications:Experience in in-home care, long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, or nursing homesKnowledge of HIPAA regulationsFamiliarity with client rights and home care practicesMedication administration experienceJoin our team and make a difference in people's lives!
