In this itinerant position, you will collaborate with school teams and ARD Specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students' educational needs. Key qualifications:Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician CertificationDemonstrated experience working as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas public schools, ideally for several yearsIn-depth knowledge of ARDs, evaluations, and state/federal special education regulationsStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside campus staff and familiesWillingness to obtain district background clearance, including fingerprinting, prior to start date Key responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for elementary students to identify unique learning needsParticipate in ARD meetings, contributing expertise for eligibility determinations, programming, and progress monitoringConsult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, administrators, and parents to design and implement effective interventions and accommodationsMaintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold strict compliance with state and district proceduresTravel between assigned campuses to provide services where needed most, supporting equitable access for all students Enjoy a position with consistent scheduling (40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday) for the duration of the academic year (August 2026 - May 2027).
