The role involves identifying ingredients that require dilution, appropriately diluting them, and recording raw materials usage. The compounder maintains quality standards by verifying weights and contents of raw materials, conducting in-process batch inspections, and documenting all process events while adhering to procedures and policies.\nResponsibilities\nProcess liquid, powders, homogenizing, and spray dry methods of compounding.\nFollow standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes and other substances into the equipment.\nCheck for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.\nTake samples of batches and turn them over to a laboratory for testing.\nFollow food safety guidelines and accurately document work completed.\nEssential Skills\n3-5+ years of experience in batch making, compounding, and blending.\nExperience working in personal care/cosmetic, fragrance, and dietary supplement industries.\nWork Environment\nThe work environment involves wearing a uniform and proper attire. The company is growing rapidly, having gained significant business and won creams and lotions line of business.\nShifts Available: 2nd 330PM-Midnight and 3rd 1130PM-8AM\nJob Type & Location\nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Helmetta, NJ.\nPay and Benefits\nThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.\nEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
