This position is well-suited for professionals who enjoy driving technical excellence, mentoring teams, and making a measurable impact—while remaining hands-on throughout the delivery lifecycle.\r\nThis position must be performed from Dallas, TX, in a hybrid working model.\r\nYour future duties and responsibilities\r\nOIPA Configuration & Functional Delivery\r\nLead OIPA requirements gathering, functional design, and configuration activities\r\nImplement OIPA configuration language, rules, calculations, validations, and AS files\r\nBuild and enhance OIPA screens (policy, role segment, allocation, valuation)\r\nConfigure palette components, security models, and application-level permissions\r\nDevelop OIPA extensions, data intake patterns, and data extraction workflows\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve OIPA configuration, integration, and data issues\r\nEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture, data models, and implementation standards\r\nTechnical Engineering & Modernization\r\nBuild and modernize applications using Java, Spring MVC/Core/Boot, and REST/SOAP services\r\nIntegrate OIPA with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, services, and batch processes\r\nConduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing using open-source frameworks\r\nDefine and maintain development standards using Git, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, and related tools\r\nSupport production and non-production environments to ensure stability and performance\r\nLeadership & Collaboration\r\nTechnical design discussions, proofs of concept, and architectural evaluations\r\nMentor junior engineers and configurators, promoting engineering excellence\r\nPartner with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end delivery quality\r\nContribute to planning, estimation, and delivery best practices\r\nRequired Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role\r\n6+ Years of deep, hands-on expertise in OIPA, including:\r\nConfiguration language, rules, calculations, AS files\r\nIntegrations, data intake, and data extraction patterns\r\nDatabase architecture and OIPA extensions\r\nPalette and application security implementations\r\nRelease management and deployment processes\r\n2–5 years of hands-on development experience (nice to have) with:\r\nJava, Spring MVC/Core/Boot\r\nSOAP/REST services\r\nWeb container configuration\r\nFront end experience with JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, Angular, or Node.js (preferred)\r\nStrong SQL skills and experience debugging Oracle stored procedures\r\nExperience with TDD and tools such as JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor\r\nProficiency with Git, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Sonar\r\nFamiliarity with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus\r\nAWS certification is a plus\r\nStrong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills\r\nDemonstrated leadership, collaboration, and continuous learning mindset\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems\r\nCompensation Range\r\nCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
