This position will work closely with attorneys on arbitration preparation, legal writing, medical documentation, settlement negotiations, and overall case management.\n\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience with New Jersey PIP arbitration and is comfortable reviewing medical records and billing, drafting basic legal briefs, negotiating with insurance carriers, and managing case deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who wants to take an active role in the resolution of PIP matters while working alongside experienced arbitration attorneys.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nManage assigned PIP arbitration matters.\n\nDraft basic arbitration briefs, replies, and supporting legal documents.\n\nNegotiate settlements with insurance carriers.\n\nReview medical records, bills, EOBs, and supporting documentation.\n\nAssist attorneys with arbitration preparation and case management.\n\nMonitor deadlines and maintain accurate case documentation.\n\nAssist with post-service appeals and other litigation support as needed.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n3-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in New Jersey PIP or personal injury.\n\nExperience negotiating PIP arbitration settlements.\n\nBasic legal brief writing experience.\n\nKnowledge of New Jersey PIP Arbitration procedures.\n\nKnowledge of the New Jersey PIP Fee Schedule, precertification requirements, and post-service appeals is a strong plus.\n\nExperience with Litify or similar case management software preferred.\n\nCompensation Range: $75,000 - $85,000 USD\n\nCompensation: The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to; prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors.
