In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, inputting data, processing shipping, consumer and retail returns, tracking orders and other inventory movement, reboxing units for return to stock, and reworking/repairing product with accuracy while maintaining a safe and clean warehouse work environment.\n\nMon - Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm\nResponsibilities:\nEssential Functions\nAbility to flex within warehouse functions including Raw Materials, Reverse Logistics and Finished Goods\nMay be responsible for accuracy of inventory, transactions, and material movement\nMay pull/audit material as required for KANBAN, shop order, move order or sales order requirements\nMay issue/transact material requested through material withdrawal forms\nMay receive, transact, and sort inbound material\nMay do replenishment of material into primary picking locations\nMay ensure First in/First Out (FIFO) and Last in/First Out (LIFO) policies are adhered to as defined in departmental procedures\nMay follow Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) guidelines for static sensitive materials if applicable\nMay pack materials to ensure adequate delivery to internal/external customers\nMay be responsible to perform cycle counts as required\nMay need the ability to operate RF device to transact and move material\nMust meet quality/productivity metrics\nPerform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment\nMust meet all safety standards/policies\nAbility to accept responsibility for work assignments and job duties and to be held accountable for their successful completion\nAbility to work variable and flexible hours including overtime\nCompliance with Garmin’s Attendance Policy\nAbility to operate one or two pieces of powered industrial equipment safely/efficiently such as a dock stocker or powered pallet jack depending on departmental responsibilities\nMust possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift, and walking long distances throughout the facility\nMust possess the ability to visually distinguish minor cosmetic imperfections and defects on Garmin products\nCleanliness zone area requirements: This position requires Garmin provided personal protective equipment including SD shoes (Static Dissipative Footwear) to be always worn for an entire shift to minimize the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) and meet specified standards\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED OR equivalent combination of education and experience\nMust possess the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift, and walking long distances throughout the facility\nAbility to use RF Scanner\nDemonstrated computer proficiency\nDesired Qualifications\nPrevious warehouse or related experience\nDatabase experience including Microsoft Excel and Access\nPrevious Oracle Experience\n\nGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
