The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.\nResponsibilities:\nSource and procure materials, components, and services required for manufacturing operations.\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.\nIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and service.\nNegotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.\nMonitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, and quality assurance teams, to understand requirements and ensure alignment.\nMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.\nAnalyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.\nStay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to procurement and supply chain management.\nParticipate in supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate resolution of issues.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
