Visit our company blog to learn more about what we are working on!\r\nAbout the Role\r\nWe are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to drive the frontend architecture and early development of Harmonic's products. In this role, you will be the technical owner for Harmonic's user-facing products, driving the front-end architecture and helping develop the product infrastructure. We are looking for a driven self-starter who wants to own a frontend codebase from inception, with a proven track record of architecting frontend applications from the ground up, building scalable component systems and design patterns, and delivering polished, performant user interfaces.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nOwn the front-end architecture and product development, coding high-fidelity design prototypes into reusable, scalable frontend user experiences\r\nCollaborate closely with backend engineering to design and optimize frontend components to efficiently process and render interactive data streams\r\nPartner closely with designers, researchers, engineers, and key stakeholders to translate complex technical capabilities into functional, intuitive, and feature-rich user interactions\r\nLeverage AI-native tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development cycles and establish new best practices in product engineering\r\nArchitect and maintain the technical infrastructure supporting our core platform integrations and public-facing web systems\r\nMinimum Qualifications\r\nBS in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent industry experience\r\n5+ years of hands-on relevant industry experience building production applications at scale\r\nProficiency with TypeScript, React, or similar, and modern web technologies and concepts\r\nExperience collaborating with design, product, research, and infrastructure teams to ship user-facing products from concept to launch\r\nProven experience authoring clean, performant code to translate high-fidelity design prototypes into frontend components\r\nExperience with integrating frontend components with backend APIs\r\nExperience with modern software development practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build and deployment processes, and testing\r\nExperience with experimentation and iterative development process\r\nProven work ethic, self-motivation, and a passion for building impactful products\r\nProven track record operating successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nPrior experience partnering with research teams to translate complex underlying technologies into intuitive, functional web mediums and components\r\nExperience with building complex web user applications\r\nDemonstrated product sense in partnerships with design, product, research, and infrastructure engineers\r\nExperience as a founder or early engineer building a product from scratch from ideation to launch\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nUnlimited PTO\r\n401(k) matching\r\n100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental benefits for employees and 50% coverage for dependents.
