Job PostingThe City of Anoka is currently accepting applications for an exempt (FT) Environmental Specialist. This position will serve as the Environmental Specialist in the Public Services Department, responsible for residential recycling programs and recycling events, Stormwater Management, and City environmental programs.Duties include but are not limited to managing the City’s Residential Recycling Program; monitoring and administering the recycling budget. Coordinating and conducting recycling events and the City’s Farmers Market on the Rum. Coordinating all activities related to water resources, securing permits and compliance, erosion control monitoring, stormwater management, monitoring wells. Administering City GIS mapping system.
