The role focuses on integrating system security engineering principles into the reentry system design, development, and operation for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as the SSE integration lead for a specific program within the Reentry SSE Integrated project team (IPT).\n\nFacilitate integration between the System Security Engineering team, the Reentry System Program team, and the customer.\n\nIntegrate system security engineering requirements, including Hardware Assurance, Software Assurance, Cyber Security, Asymmetric Threat, Vulnerability Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Nuclear Surety, and other SSE requirements.\n\nIdentify critical program information and ensure that security engineering requirements are properly addressed.\n\nDevelop, verify, and validate security engineering requirements throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.\n\nApply security engineering principles and practices throughout the reentry system lifecycle.\n\nMonitor status, risks, needs, and priority of system security engineering tasks for all Reentry Programs.\n\nSupport development and maintenance of the Reentry System Security Engineering Program Plan.\n\nCollaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to address security engineering requirements during system operation and maintenance.\n\nSupport supplier management activities to ensure compliance with security engineering requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain a plan for SSE activities on the Reentry SEIT team.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering, security engineering, or a related field.\n\nFamiliarity with at least one of the following system security engineering principles and practices:\n\nHardware Assurance\n\nSoftware Assurance\n\nCyber Security\n\nNuclear Surety\n\nSupply Chain Risk Management\n\nFamiliarity with at least one system security engineering integration process:\n\nRequirements development\n\nRequirements Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVM)\n\nExperience with Agile (e.g., Jira and Confluence) or project planning.\n\nEligibility to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\n\nMaster’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\n\nUnderstanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, and operation.\n\nKnowledge of asymmetric threat vulnerability management and nuclear surety principles and practices.\n\nExperience with Cyber Security package development for IATTs and ATOs.\n\nExperience with program management principles and practices, including earned value management and risk management.\n\nExperience generating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support.\n\nExperience with supply chain risk management.\n\nExperience working in a multi-disciplined IPT.\n\nFamiliarity with the LM FBM, LM Space, and/or other Business Area Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).\n\nExperience developing products during the Requirements definition phase (e.g., Concept of Operations, requirements documents, trade studies).\n\nParticipation in Structured Improvement Activities (SIA) or similar continuous improvement events.\n\nFBM Program knowledge and experience working with U.S. Navy.\n\nLean Six Sigma Certified Greenbelt.\n\nActive Top Secret Security Clearance.\n\nDemonstrated success as a change agent facilitating cultural adoption of new processes, tools, and approaches.\n\nFamiliarity with MBSE/SysML (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw) and reviewing MBSE/SysML models.\n\nPositive demeanor, accountable and responsible, able to work in a team-focused dynamic environment.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nPosition requires a government security clearance; applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
