Your role is essential in minimizing downtime and supporting productivity through hands-on mechanical work.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintenance and Repair:\nAssist in performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.\nHelp diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs under the guidance of senior mechanics.\nReplace or repair defective parts such as bearings, gears, and belts.\nTroubleshooting:\nSupport in identifying mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.\nAid in analyzing malfunctioning systems and implementing appropriate solutions.\nTest repaired systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.\nDocumentation:\nKeep basic records of maintenance and repair activities.\nDocument parts and materials used, and assist in tracking work orders and service logs.\nReport any major repairs or potential issues to supervisors.\nSafety and Compliance:\nFollow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.\nAdhere to all regulatory and company guidelines for mechanical maintenance and repairs.\nUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.\nCollaboration:\nWork with other maintenance staff and production teams to address equipment issues.\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.\nLearn from and support senior mechanics and team members.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
