The Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical and electromechanical systems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support continuous production while maintaining safety and sanitation standards specific to food machinery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery including mechanical and electrical systems\nTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults using appropriate test equipment and schematics\nRepair or replace bearings, belts, gears, motors, pumps, valves and other mechanical components\nDisassemble, reassemble and align equipment; perform machining, welding and fabrication tasks as required\nInstall new equipment and modify existing machinery to improve performance or meet changing production needs\nWork with maintenance schedules and logs; document work performed, parts used and downtime to support continuous improvement\nCollaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize line performance\nMaintain compliance with safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements for food manufacturing environments\nParticipate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of equipment failures\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical technology preferred\n3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food machinery experience strongly preferred\nStrong mechanical skills including familiarity with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulics\nWorking knowledge of electrical systems, controls, motors and PLCs; ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics\nProven ability to troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment quickly and safely\nExperience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS preferred\nWelding, fabrication and basic machining skills a plus\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, work in variable temperatures and stand for extended periods; flexible to work shift schedule and overtime as needed\nStrong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to safety and food-safety practices (HACCP, GMP)\nBenefits\nMedical Dental and Vision\n401k\nPTO\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
