We are a fast-growing, technology-driven personal injury law firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Settlement Coordinator to guide cases through the final stage of the client journey.This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organization, follow-through, problem-solving, and making sure every detail is handled correctly. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, accounting, and clients to ensure settlements are processed efficiently, accurately, and with an exceptional client experience.Benefits and PerksMedical, dental, and visionSTD, LTD, and life insurance401(k) with a 4% match15 days of PTO per year12+ days off for federal holidaysCompensation:$50,000Responsibilities:What You'll DoCoordinate all settlement-related tasks after a case resolvesPrepare and send settlement agreements and release documentsCommunicate with clients to obtain signatures and required informationFile settlement-related documents with courts when necessaryNegotiate, resolve, and track medical liens and balancesPrepare settlement statements and disbursement paperworkCreate and verify payees in Bill.comWork closely with the bookkeeping/accounting team on settlement disbursementsMaintain accurate notes and updates in Litify/SalesforceEnsure all settlement funds and documents are processed in a timely and correct mannerHelp create a smooth, positive closing experience for clientsQualifications:What We're Looking ForExtremely detail-oriented and organizedStrong communication and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines at onceComfortable working with technology and learning new systems quicklyExperience in personal injury law, settlements, liens, legal assistant work, bookkeeping, or accounting is strongly preferredExperience with Litify, Salesforce, Bill.com, DocuSign, or legal case management software is a plusProblem solver who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completionTeam player with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbout CompanyWho We Are: Mike Agruss Law was founded in 2012.
