{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e8b05caffcf5b255ba6301db","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e8b05caffcf5b255ba6301db","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e8b05caffcf5b255ba6301db","title":"Environmental Engineering Intern","description":"Overview:\nThis is a Summer 2025 internship in the Engineering Department.\nResponsibilities:\nThe Environmental Engineering Intern at Aluminum Dynamics will help the environmental team with the following duties:\nManage the ISO14001 environmental management system encompassing all environmental program areas including air, wastewater treatment and discharge, NPDES storm water, discharge to streams, spill prevention and cleanup, solid waste minimization and disposal, hazardous and special waste disposal and radiation program management.\nWork with the SDI Corporate Office on environmental projects when needed.\nFocus on Sustainability and Decarbonization goals and efforts\nInteract with Federal, State and Local agencies, along with legislative bodies, trade groups, legal consultants, and other professional groups.\nPrepare and obtain necessary environmental permits, working with consulting and agency personnel to secure permit conditions preferential to the company.\nDuties include preparation of all required documentation and forms such as SARA, manifests, annual air emission inventory, and monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual reports.
