This position plays a key role in accurate order fulfillment, inbound and outbound shipping support, and overall material flow within the facility. The Warehouse Associate ensures safe operation of equipment, compliance with company standards, and maintains a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.\n\nEssential duties & responsibilities\nThe essential functions of the job include the following:\nPull, stage, load, and unload freight according to route manifests and work orders.\nSafely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, strapping machines, and other warehouse material handling equipment.\nPerform picking, packing, scanning, counting, and kitting as required.\nInspect forklifts and material handling equipment daily and report any issues to supervision.\nIdentify, document, and report overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).\nSupport both inbound and outbound shipping operations, including material movement between departments or facilities.\nFollow all standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.\nAssist in maintaining accurate inventory and supporting cycle count activities.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, including staging, racking, and dock areas.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required.\nMinimum 2 years of forklift and warehouse equipment operation experience required.\nExperience with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems preferred.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nMust be able to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.\nMust be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nClimbing\n- ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.\nBalancing\n- maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.\nStooping/Crouching\n- bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.\nKneeling\n- bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.\nReaching\n- extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.\nStanding\n- particularly for sustained periods of time\nWalking\n- moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.\nPushing & Pulling\nLifting up to 20 lbs\n- raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.\nGrasping\n- applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.\nRepetitive motion\n- substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.\nThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.\nThe worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.\nThe worker is subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.\nThe worker is subject to hazards.
