Our certified and highly-skilled teams specialize in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection and retrofit to existing structural members.This position coordinates project invoicing and payment process, budget to job cost comparison, daily review of job cost related items, subcontract and compliance tracking, and change order preparation.Daily ResponsibilitiesWork with project management team, including preparation and distribution of subcontract and with the required compliance attachmentsTrack compliance of all subcontractors Support the monthly and annual closeout processJob specification review for insurance and bonding requirementsPrepare owner and subcontractor change ordersPreparation of monthly project billings; effectively communicate with Project Managers and principals in charge, regarding contract documents and change orders related to billingWork with project managers to keep accounts receivable current on all projectsMonthly analyzing of projects with Project Managers to prepare for financial closingPrepare and distribute job cost analysis reportsCreate organized phase codesPrepare variance reports Demonstrates computer software proficiency (Microsoft office, Viewpoint, etc.)Demonstrates proficiency in accounting skills (formulas, calculations, etc.)Scan and enter invoices from subcontractors into viewpointCorrespond with general contractors, subcontractors and other vendors regarding invoicing and payment inquiriesProvide accounting assistance to Project Managers and operations staff; respond to financial questions and concerns to meet business needsRequirementsPrior accounting experience required; construction or manufacturing project accounting strongly preferredComputer and software skills, including Microsoft Office required, Vista/Viewpoint preferredAbility to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectivelyAbility to work independently and be a team player, must be flexible, and able to work in fast paced and changing environmentEqual Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace where post-offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Kinsley Steel, Inc. is a participant in the Federal E-Verify Program.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
