{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e8a25618cbfb4e835231a932","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e8a25618cbfb4e835231a932","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e8a25618cbfb4e835231a932","title":"Software Engineer","description":"The Software Engineer is a member of an agile development team designing, building, testing and supporting the cloud-based and/or on-premise software solutions offered by CenterEdge Software for the benefit of its clients.Requirements   Essential DutiesActively participating in and contributing to regular meetings, including planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives and the daily stand up.Collaborating with other software engineers, product owners and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain cloud and/or premise-based business applications built using a variety of  technologies.Staying abreast of and implementing modern security best practices in coding so that our application software maintains PCI  PA-DSS compliance.Assisting in the collection and documentation of technical requirements, the analysis of user stories, and the estimation of  software engineering tasks.Designing, developing, and unit testing applications in accordance with established engineering standards and defined acceptance criteria.Participating in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.Adhering to established source code control procedures.Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.Assessing opportunities for application and process improvement and preparing documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.Providing software engineering support to the Operations staff and end-users, as required, both during normal business  hours and as part of rotational off-hours on-call support.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC.Experience with creating and modifying WinForms.Experience with running unit tests against your code.Experience using source control, preferably Git.Bonus: Experience with AWS.Bonus: Experience with Blazor.Bonus: Experience with Telerik and/or Crystal Reports.Bonus: Experience with VB.NET.Bonus: Experience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit. QualificationsSound knowledge of modern development trends, technologies, and design patterns.A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 1 years’ experience designing and implementing software systems (or relevant coursework).Authorized to work in the U.S. without a visa requiring sponsorship.It will be a good cultural fit if...You have a passion for writing great code with the desire to achieve & exceed goals.You are personally accountable for your work and love creating value for your users.You have a desire for the team to succeed above personal preferences.You have a passion to constantly learn and develop new skills.This position offers the opportunity to work remotely, but candidates MUST reside in either NC, NH, VA, FL, TX, or TN.Must be authorized to work in the United States; candidates requiring Visa sponsorship WILL NOT be considered.Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screen, in accordance with local law/regulations.
