Position works collaboratively with various groups (Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Program Management, and occasionally customers). Knowledge of materials, tooling fabrication methods, safety requirements, and ergonomic considerations along with mechanical aptitude and familiarity with 3D design software allow this individual to ensure optimal tool designs for complete life cycle.
