Ensuring the maintenance of project schedules and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to handle workload and identify and implement scalability options. Assist Business Development to identify additional opportunities at the market level, and forward opportunistic sales leads to the sales team. Provide and maintain outstanding customer service by being the single point of escalation for the customer and by proving consistency in communication, reporting, and deliverables. In addition, will provide financial oversight to ensure general financial health of a project by monitoring accruals, job sheets, pricing, production, forecasting, budget, contract renewal, scope creep and change orders. Continual development of Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Administrative staff to build bench strength across the team.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nEnsure programs deliver value and contribute to the overall business strategy.\r\nAssist personnel with interpreting customer drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.\r\nEstablish and maintain efficient and cost-effective program organizational structures.\r\nIdentify and eliminate wasteful resource usage across the program.\r\nIdentify and develop top managers for advancement.\r\nOverall responsibility and accountability for ensuring that program KPIs are met.\r\nMaintain customer satisfaction by communicating and meeting regularly.\r\nEnsure everyone on the project management team is performing all duties described in their job descriptions.\r\nBe able to forecast the upcoming program volume throughout the budget cycle.\r\nForecast future staffing requirements and skill sets.\r\nDevelop and implement change management plans to support program initiatives.\r\nCommunicate and meet with customers regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.\r\nMonitor and measure the benefits delivered by the program. Negotiate Addendums and change orders.\r\nAct as a point of contact for escalations for stale work, SLA compliance, or any issues that impact overall project performance.\r\nMake sure customer reports are current and distributed as required and there are no discrepancies between their tracking and CCI tracking.\r\nEnsure confidentiality of company information.\r\nPerform other related duties as assigned by management.\r\nQualifications\r\n4+ years of experience in engineering management.\r\nKnowledge with Rural Utilities Service (RUS) standards and other applicable regulatory requirements governing telecommunications infrastructure.\r\nFamiliar with staking sheet creation and plan sets for placement of telecommunications infrastructure.\r\nKnowledge of fiber optic cable splicing techniques and equipment.\r\nKnowledge in designing and building fiber optic networks.\r\nFamiliarity with CAD / GIS based software used in telecommunications design.\r\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and various web-based software.\r\nStrong analytical and observational skills, which demonstrate the ability to: plan projects, review and recommend technical specifications, coordinate staffing needs, communicate effectively, and manage all aspects of a project.\r\nStrong skills in management, financials, data analysis, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and attention to detail.\r\nProven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.\r\nEffectively working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.\r\nPersuasive, encouraging and motivating with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.\r\nAbility to interact with colleagues, vendors, and customers/clients of all demographics and professional levels.
