Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.\n\nIn the role of Senior Programs Manager, you will have the opportunity to:\n\nMaintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ\n\nProvide Christ-centered leadership and oversight to Program Managers, empowering them to achieve program objectives in a timely, efficient, ethical, quality, and cost-effective manner while appropriately discerning and addressing critical physical, emotional, and spiritual concerns among staff.\n\nStrengthen program quality and continuous improvement, leading the development and final review of concept papers and proposals while promoting sustainable, appropriate, timely, effective, and accountable programming aligned with best practices.\n\nProvide strong financial and operational stewardship, reviewing program financial reports, analyzing spending, and providing actionable guidance to Program Managers and Finance while coordinating with supply chain, logistics, fleet, and other support departments to resolve needs efficiently.\n\nEnsure clear communication, reporting, and accountability, providing regular program updates to senior leadership and reviewing and approving timely, accurate reports for donors, IHQ, and other stakeholders.\n\nEngage directly with field programs and staff, conducting site visits to encourage leaders, provide support, address challenges, strengthen program quality, and identify opportunities for new or expanded ministry impact.\n\nStrengthen strategic partnerships and organizational direction, supporting senior leadership with strategic planning and policy development while representing Samaritan's Purse DRC with government authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, INGOs, donors, and Samaritan's Purse Affiliates to foster collaboration and secure information and resources.\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWhat are the qualifications?\n\nServe with Excellence\n\nAs a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:\n\nEducation: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with 34 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a master's degree is preferred.
