This rural community trauma hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services with advanced capabilities across multiple modalities. The facility maintains modern equipment including Synapse PACS systems to support efficient workflow operations for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient diagnostic needs. The medical center operates as a regional healthcare provider delivering quality patient care through established protocols and advanced technology integration.
Responsibilities
Interpret 35 diagnostic studies daily (CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, etc.).
Interpret 3 mammography cases daily.
Perform 5 interventional radiology procedures weekly (lumbar puncture, myelogram, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrogram, joint aspiration, injection).
Utilize Synapse PACS and Powescribe dictation systems.
Handle a monthly total of ~253 CT, 90 MRI, 165 ultrasound, 90 mammography, 15 nuclear medicine, 525 X-ray, 5–10 fluoroscopy exams, and 20 IR cases.
Case Load/PPD: 35 diagnostic/day, 3 mammograms/day, 5 IR procedures/week.
Qualifications
Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology negotiable.
Experience interpreting a high volume of diverse studies.
