If you enjoy working directly with patients, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative team dedicated to legendary patient care, we'd love to meet you.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nAs an Optometric Assistant, you'll work alongside our doctors to provide exceptional care and help patients through every step of their visit. Responsibilities include:\nPreparing patients for their eye examinations by reviewing medical history and performing preliminary testing.\nConducting diagnostic testing, including visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, retinal imaging, and other specialized testing.\nAssisting providers during patient examinations.\nEducating patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and proper care.\nMaintaining, cleaning, and calibrating diagnostic equipment.\nAccurately documenting patient information while maintaining confidentiality.\nCreating a welcoming, positive experience by answering patient questions and providing outstanding customer service.\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nThe ideal candidate is:\nFriendly, compassionate, and patient-focused.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.\nDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.\nA strong communicator who enjoys learning new skills.\nAble to work both independently and as part of a team.\nDependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.\nPrevious experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or another healthcare setting is a plus, but not required.\n\nApplicants selected for an interview will complete an aptitude assessment.\n\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to work 40 hours per week.\nBasic computer skills and comfort learning electronic medical records.\nReliable attendance and punctuality.\nBenefits\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance.\n401(k) retirement plan.\nPaid time off, and paid holidays\nPaid on-the-job training and ongoing professional development.\nWeekly team training meetings.\nTeam-building events and a supportive workplace culture.\nOpportunities for advancement as our practice continues to grow.\nAbout Eagle Vision One\n\nFor more than 20 years, Eagle Vision One has proudly served the Treasure Valley by providing comprehensive eye care with a commitment to legendary patient service.
