This includes both internal and outsourcing jobs. The Resource Manager will also assist in evaluating staff, developing staff through departmental rotation or project variety, and training and recruitment requirements.\n\nPlease note this is a temp to perm position\n\nWhat you'll be doing\nPartners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.\nUnderstand the role and skill set needed for project workload.\nReview forecast future staffing capacity demands and gaps (based on departmental manager’s workload planning).\nEnsure systems are in place to capture the direct and indirect cost of resource usage.\nReview master schedules for optimal resource usage (and track progress accordingly).\nIdentify and assign appropriate staff to meet project needs.\nAssist with securing additional or temporary resources when needed (includes sub-contractors).\nAccount for current and future resource assignments.\nTrack trends in resource usage (and regularly report status and make recommendations).\nElevate deployment bottleneck issues to respective managers.\nRedeploy staff as and when necessary reflecting changing project demands.\nRecruitment and onboarding of new vendors (domestic and international).\nPartner with Vendor Management to process corresponding vendor documentation.\nReview project requirements (scopes of work, staffing plans, budgets, etc.) with project team.\nEmbrace and support Computacenter’s mission and core values.\n\nWhat you have\nBachelor’s Degree\nMust have 7+ years of Technology industry experience.\n5-10 years of experience managing teams in the delivery of engineering services within the IT, datacenter or networking industry or similar experience.\nMust possess a proven track record of fiscal responsibility with managing resources and budget, a high level of professionalism as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.\nPossess and be able to expand extensive knowledge about vendor partnerships and Computacenter Fusionstorm Inc solutions and be able to communicate these to other departments.\nLegally eligible to work in the United States.\nMust provide strong leadership including vision and promoting/leading change.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).\nProfessional self-starter as well as working collaboratively with others.\nAbility to collaborate with internal departments effortlessly.\nAbility to work with a cross-functional team that includes all levels of the organization.\nProject a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.\nFamiliarity with the technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of Practice products and services.\nExcellent computer skills including MS Office.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Project and other Project Management tools preferred.\nAbility to assess, create staffing plans and associated budgets within plan.\n\nWhat you can expect\nThere’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
