Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

IMMEDIATE OPENING! Now hiring full or part-time PRESCHOOL TEACHER. Need to be self-motivated and very organized. Must be passionate about working with kids and have a positive and patient demeanor Active involvement with children and a positive attitude is a must. Requirements: Proficient in speaking and writing English High school diploma or GED Ability to pass all background checks. Preferred: Two years of experience in a licensed childcare center Child Development Associate (CDA) or willing to pursue Early Childhood Education certification/degree Bilingual (doesn’t need to be Spanish) Job Responsibilities: Instruct 5-6 years old preschool children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Plan individual and group activities for children designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in facility Prepare and organize curriculum lesson plans (Frog Street) Create a fun and safe learning environment Leading the children in active play (indoors and out) Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress Maintain the health and safety of all students Help with toilet training and diaper changing Support other teachers with meal & snack time, as well as keeping school clean & organized Attend staff meetings and trainings
