Electrical Drafting Engineer

Electrical Drafting Engineer for growing Consulting Engineering Firm in Westport CT Responsibilities·      Preferred Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years of prior experience·      Ability to draft and design ductwork and piping systems·      Sets up jobs with Team, developing layouts in AutoCAD for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution and mechanical systems. ·      Assistance with designing schematics in AutoCAD (and REVIT) for demolition and construction. ·      Performing local job site surveys of electrical layouts; marking up current floor plans to use in-house.·      Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. ·      Works to provide our clients with exactly what is in the project scope, within budget and on time.·      Ability to work to meet deadlines·      Flexibility in working on multiple projects, going from one to another as the clients’ need arises·      Working to problem-solve and create ideas to meet specific needs of clients’ projects·      Continuing professional development to stay apprised of new advances and changes in the industry QualificationsStrong AutoCAD, REVIT preferred, US Citizen
