This position serves as a key support resource for new employees entering the program, helping them understand program expectations, policies, procedures, documentation requirements and organizational culture.\n\nThe Program Assistant also provides entry level support to philanthropy and development activities, including donor communications, fundraising events, data entry, acknowledgements, and other activities that support organizational fundraising and community engagement.\n\nThe ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with people, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nProgram & New Hire Onboarding\n\n· Coordinate and support the onboarding of new employees assigned to the program.\n\n· Serve as an initial point of contact for new hires and help them successfully transition into their program assignments.\n\n· Conduct or assist with program-specific orientation, including policies, procedures, expectations, schedules, documentation, communications standards and workplace practices.\n\nTraining and Development Support\n\n· Maintain training schedules, attendance records for OCHN, Docebo and Red Cross.\n\n· Prepare training materials, handouts, presentations and other resources.\n\n· Manage Azuga driving records and provide monthly scorecards to home and district management.\n\nOperations and Philanthropy Support\n\n· Support grant, sponsorship, or fundraising projects with administrative tasks as appropriate\n\n· Assist with home operations needs such as RemoteLock, fire extinguishers, and home checklists and more\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
