Some morning hours may also be available.\nSpanish preferred, but not required\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred\nValid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required\nAbility to travel regularly between client locations\nCompletion of BTL1 Certification & in-person training required (training and costs covered by Active Steps)\nAbility to actively engage with children, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, running, and standing for extended periods\nStrong communication skills and a desire to work with children\nExperience working with children is a plus, but not required\nAbility to commit to a consistent work schedule for at least 6 months\nAbout the Role\nAs a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them build communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.\nThis is a highly active, hands-on role that takes place in clients' homes, schools, community settings, and clinics. Behavior Technicians travel between sessions throughout the day and work directly with children through play, movement, learning activities, and skill-building exercises.\nThis position is ideal for individuals interested in behavioral health, psychology, education, social work, child development, or related fields.
