We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Front Office Associate, you will be responsible for providing services to patients and referring professionals by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting and registering patients in a cheerful, professional, and sincere manner.\r\nThis is a full-time position working 40 hour per week; shifts are Monday through Friday, 12:30pm - 9:00pm with Rotational Saturdays.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n(55%) Registration\r\nGreet and checks-in patients scheduled for imaging services; processes payments and copays as needed\r\nAnswer phones and handles calls in an efficient and friendly manner\r\nField phone calls appropriately for Center Team Members\r\nAct as liaison between imaging technologists and the patients waiting for exams, and relays messages regarding scanner status and other Clinic information\r\nMaintain organization of the front office lobby area by straightening magazines, organizing coffee supplies and assisting with general office cleanup\r\nOrder office supplies as needed\r\nMaintain supply of patient information sheets\r\nComplete patient appointment confirmation calls and provide preparation instructions to patients\r\nFax/scan reports, billing information, and medical release forms as requested\r\n(20%) Scheduling\r\nArrange transportation, interpreters, and hotel accommodations for patients when appropriate\r\nEnter and submit patient exam orders\r\nSchedule referrals and ensures proper authorizations are obtained\r\nProcess requests for image orders and CDs from both the referring physicians and patients\r\nMaintain an up-to-date and accurate database of all current and potential referring physicians\r\n(20%) Insurance\r\nVerify patient's insurance coverage\r\nPre-certify all patient exams with the patient's insurance company\r\nApply knowledge of insurance carriers (example Medicare) and procedures that require waivers to obtain pre-authorization, if needed, prior to patient appointments\r\nFacilitate Release of Information (ROI) requests for patients, referring offices, other medical facilities, attorneys & insurance companies following Company guidelines\r\n(5%) Completes o ther tasks and projects as assigned\r\nRemote Position\r\nNo\r\nStatus\r\nFull-time\r\nRequirements\r\nRequired\r\nHigh School Diploma, or equivalent\r\nOne (1) year of Customer Service experience\r\nProficient in using computer systems and typing\r\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel\r\nPreferred\r\nPrevious medical office experience\r\nMedical terminology and office background\r\nInsurance knowledge\r\nRAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
