{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e851d700dc9e879f7bb2b536","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e851d700dc9e879f7bb2b536","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e851d700dc9e879f7bb2b536","title":"Server","description":"Server\n\nFUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:\n\nEssential Functions:\nEnsure that the customer is the #1 priority and that every guest is treated accordingly.\nManage the first 5 Moments of Magic:\nYour section – clean and presentable\nYour tables – cleaned and well stocked\nYour guests food – cooked how they ordered it & presented properly\nThe check – accurate and delivered timely\nLast impression – hand out coupons/information and invite them back\nCommunicate with Restaurant Manager.\nTake reservations over the phone or personally.\nGreet every customer within 5 feet with at least friendly eye contact.\nEscort customers to their table.\nPresent menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations.\nInform customers of the daily special.\nServe food and or beverages to patrons.\nFrequently check back with patrons assuring their meal and experience is perfect.\nRemove dishes and glasses from tables.\nPrepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales tax.\nStock service areas with supplies such as drink station,\nHandle cash, check, credit card and gift certificate payments\nAnswer customers questions and provide accurate information\nMaintain clean and orderly work stations.\nPerform all side work assigned and help other when they need my help to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and professionally.\nTake all completed food orders out in the window, even if they are not my own.\nResolve customer complaints\nCommunicate with other restaurant staff\nPerforms other duties as needed or assigned\nPhysical/Visual Activities or Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch, push, pull, reach, grasp, feel, talk and hear.\nGenerally light physical effort. The employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs. rarely and/or 5 to 25 lbs. occasionally.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at a distance of 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships along with adjusting the eye to bring objects into sharp focus.\nEnvironmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
