Seeking an additional Physician Assistant to join our busy Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department near Champaign, IL.Opportunity Details:Full-time positionVariable/rotating schedule:12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block.Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights.3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving)4 weekend-shifts per 4-week blockAPP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social WorkersNo EM Residency ProgramEvaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery1-2 years APP experience preferredCompensation/Benefits:The compensation range for this position is $63.72 - $82.84/hourHealth/dental/life insurance403-B plan with employer matchLTDRelocation allowanceCME allowancePaid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverageThe Community: Living and working in this central Illinois town offers a balanced lifestyle with a mix of small-town comfort and access to big-city amenities.
