Job Title: Business Systems AnalystLocation: Irving, Texas, United StatesType: Full TimeOur client is looking for a Data Operations / Integration Support Analyst to support and maintain data pipelines, file‑based integrations, and system workflows. This role focuses on ensuring smooth data movement, resolving production issues, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable and high‑quality data solutions.This position plays a key role in monitoring and supporting data ingestion processes and integration workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a solid foundation in SQL, and the ability to analyze system behavior, identify root causes, and communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support data pipelines, integrations, and file‑based workflows to ensure reliable data processing.Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines, file transfers, and applications, identifying root causes and recommending solutions.Manage secure data exchanges using SFTP and managed file transfer (MFT) tools.Perform data validation and issue analysis using SQL queries.Review logs and system behavior to determine whether issues are related to data, files, or system performance.Collaborate with engineering and business teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.Create and execute test plans to validate data changes and system updates.Document workflows, processes, and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity.Provide ongoing production support and clear status updates to stakeholders.Support additional operational tasks as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).2+ years of experience supporting data processes, applications, or system operations.Basic working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.Experience supporting or monitoring data pipelines, integrations, or file‑based data exchanges.Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to different stakeholders.Preferred SkillsExposure to ETL or data platforms such as Databricks, Informatica, or similar tools.Experience with secure file transfer (SFTP), EDI, or MFT solutions.Familiarity with Python for basic troubleshooting or debugging.Experience working in regulated industries such as SaaS, healthcare, pharmacy, or financial services.Experience using Jira or similar tracking tools.Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration capabilities.Key CompetenciesProblem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve data and system issues efficientlyAttention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and process reliabilityCollaboration: Working effectively across technical and business teamsCommunication: Providing clear updates and documenting processes effectivelyContinuous Learning: Willingness to learn new tools and improve processes
