Immigration Paralegal
Immigration Paralegal (Raleigh): Immediate opening for a paralegal position with North Carolina’s oldest immigration practice. The firm currently handles employment and family-based immigration matters, non-immigrant and immigrant (greencard) applications, waivers, naturalizations, DACA, TPS and other humanitarian relief applications.Duties include: preparation and filing of petitions, nonimmigrant visa applications and immigrant visa applications. Compile and analyze case facts, draft correspondence, maintain and organize client documentation and client contact. Work is under the direct supervision of the firm’s Senior Immigration Attorney; the paralegal will also work independently.Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university- or a paralegal certificate from an ABA approved, or similar, program- and immigration paralegal experience is preferred. Bilingual applicants are encouraged. Position requires strong writing skills with proven attention-to-detail, impeccable spelling and grammar. Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, a document management system. The applicant should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals.
