You will monitor progress of program requirements and cost performance to ensure contractual obligations are met, and responsible for the associated inventory and prepaid reconciliations.\n\nWhat you will do\nManage overall project financials to include forecasting, accruals, and invoice tracking\nWork with BU Finance and Project Managers to track project profitability\nReview invoices and assist AP with proper coding\nTrack and reconcile inventory, prepaids and other associated accounts\nPerform all program control related duties to include ensuring all revenue and costs are accurate and preparing financial deliverables to management and other stakeholders\nAssist with multiple program/projects by monitoring progress and quality, managing issue resolution, recommending corrective action, and developing ad-hoc client deliverables\nProvide program control support for monthly close activities to include variance analysis for revenue, gross profit, contribution margin and reporting to leadership teams\nPrepare Estimate-At-Completion (EAC)\nSupport project and contract set up activities\nYour required experience/skills\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a major in accounting or finance\n5+ years of finance or accounting experience with a focus on billing & revenue, cost, and U.S. GAAP compliance\nExperience managing, coordinating, and facilitating a team's efforts effectively and efficiently in multiple contract environments (i.e., Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price)\nExperience tracking, monitoring, reporting, standardizing, and overseeing project cost, schedule, and performance measures\nExperience with government contracts and their CLIN structure, required.\nProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance\nProficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills required\nThis role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee)\n\nYour success in this role will look like:\nPossess leadership ability and the capacity for self-direction\nAbility to be creative in finding solutions to complex problems\nHighly organized and process oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment\nAccuracy, attention to detail with a strong emphasis on delivering quality results\nAdaptability, creative thinking, team player, openness, culture champion with experience fostering inclusive work environments, embracing diverse thinking and styles, positive attitude\nEffective written and oral communication and people skills\n\nIt would be nice if you had:\nSales Force and Microsoft Dynamics SL experience\nPrior experience in a similar position or role\nHow we support you:\nHybrid work environment offering up to two days per week work from home (for eligible positions)\nDevelopment opportunities supporting professional growth championed by our dedicated Learning & Development team. 20-25% of our positions are hired internally!\nWays to get involved: satellite launch parties, company connect events, charitable activities, team social events, recognition programs, and employee resource groups.\nWide range of benefits and perks to help you stay healthy, happy, and productive.
