With a dedicated mentor in the industry you will contribute to real projects, develop valuable skills, and learn about the lifecycle of heavy-civil construction projects, from conception to completion.\n\nThis is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, build your future, and make a tangible impact in the world.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist Design Engineers by performing preliminary tank designs, drafting preliminary tank details, reviewing geotechnical project reports, and customizing project specification language.\nCreate project specific construction information packages to assist the DN Construction Department in building a new tank.\nProvide support in Research and Development projects performed in the Engineering Department.\nOpportunities to visit tank construction sites and assist Design Engineers in tank and shoring inspections.\nQualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in a Civil Engineering undergraduate program, structural focus preferred.\nExperience working with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel).\nExcellent communication and time management skills.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.\nAbility to problem-solve in individual and team settings.\nTransportation to Wakefield, Massachusetts.\nTotal Rewards\nCompetitive Hourly Rate\nPaid Time Off\n$3,000 Scholarship Opportunity\nGym membership discount\nEmployee referral program\nLeadership training programs\nWe offer a starting hourly rate of $24 per hour for interns and co-op students.
