Your expertise will help shape how the site operates today while building a stronger, more efficient foundation for the future.\nPlease note that this role requires onsite presence five days per week, Monday through Friday\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\nResponsibilities Include:\nSafety, Compliance & Process Safety\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to personal safety and the safety of employees, contractors, company assets, and the surrounding community.\n\nEnsure compliance with Momentive's EHS Management Systems, cybersecurity requirements, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.\n\nMaintain responsibility for safe execution of project and maintenance activities involving both Momentive employees and external contractors or vendors.\n\nPartner with site EHS to support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA).\n\nKey Job Responsibilities\nProvide technical support to resolve production challenges related to product quality, equipment performance, material balances, and process yields.\n\nCoordinate product translations and supports new product introductions (NPIs) to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient integration into manufacturing.\n\nIdentify and recommends process and equipment improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve batch cycle times.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives using structured CI methodologies and tools.\n\nIdentifie opportunities for material usage optimization and cost reduction and leads projects through implementation.\n\nDrive efforts to reduce waste and improve sustainability across plant processes.\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:\nThe following are required for the role\nBS degree or higher in Chemical Engineering.\n\n5+ Years of experience as a Production or Process Engineer in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of batch and continuous chemical processes.\n\nStrong safety consciousness, strong EHS awareness and familiarity with EHS requirements.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills are essential.\n\nProven problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment, including the ability to troubleshoot process problems and implement corrective actions.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Outlook / Office / Excel/ PowerPoint etc. – computer basics.\n\nAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects.\n\nThe following are preferred qualifications:\nTechnical knowledge in industrial equipment and chemical products.\n\nFamiliarity with the following:\n\nSAP\n\nOSI PI data management platform\n\nDeltaV & ABB DCS\n\nCI Lean methodology, Six-Sigma, Lean Six-Sigma, 5S experience\n\nProcess Safety Management knowledge (MOC, PSSR, PHA, LOPA)\n\n#LI-MT1\nWhat We Offer:Base Pay Range: $93,000 - $136,950\nThe actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
