The Engineering Associate may be called upon to make minor project decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepares and reviews design computations, plan designs, and drawings.\nReviews submittals and coordinates project submissions.\nPrepares and reviews specifications, draft letters, and written technical reports.\nCompletes inspections and field work assignments as needed.\nResearches, reviews, interprets, and understands written regulations, code compliance, and permit requirements and applies them to design projects.\nMaintains appropriate documentation of work and project records.\nPossesses knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to project designs.\nDevelops technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings.\nPromotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors and omissions.\nPerforms work within assigned budgets.\nEducation and Experience\nEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in position relevant Engineering field from ABET accredited school.\nExperience: No previous relevant work experience is required. Prior internships in the A/E industry is preferred.\nLicensure/Certification: Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDemonstrates a strong desire to expand knowledge and take on new responsibilities within the engineering field.\nProficient in Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, to be used for Site Layout, Grading, Utility, and Storm Water Management Plan design and/or other discipline-specific programs preferred.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).\nExcellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.\nStrong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.\nEEO Statement\nLarson Design Group, Inc. is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
