Manages projects/programs of varying complexity and size. Participates on teams through some or all phases of projects including Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Project Monitoring and Control, Project Closure. Ensures that the project plan, scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, risk, budget, and deliverables are in alignment with the project/program goals and objectives as defined by the statement of work. Facilitates the efforts of team members to achieve their project and/or task goals and initiatives.\nResponsibilities:\nExperience leading large IT projects (50 - 100 FTEs). IT Procurement experience - Required.\n10+ years of project management experience - Required.\nThe ideal candidate will have significant experience supporting large IT programs within at least one of the following sectors: USCIS, TSA, USCG, Secret Service and the Department of Justice.\nQualifications:\nAssigns resources to programs, establishes program objectives, and monitors progress.\nDevelops program plans, and facilitates resolution of all issues to reach program goals.\nManages program budget to reach revenue, cost, and profit targets.\nManages and communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance.\nParticipates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.\nPrioritizes, tracks and manages a portfolio of projects ensuring deadlines are met.\nMonitors progress and adjusts schedules and resources to meet key goals.\nIdentifies and minimizes risks and issues; escalates and mitigates as needed.\nFacilitates and guides meetings and program planning to ensure appropriate scope and resource allocation.\nMay provide planning, design and implementation support to assigned area.\nMay be responsible for ensuring successful integration of all project/program segments and services.\nMay serve as primary liaison with project/program sponsors, customers and other stakeholders.\nThis is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and responsibilities.
