Selects, mounts and aligns tooling attachments and materials in proper order and relationship. Makes all adjustments necessary to assemble parts of acceptable quality.\n\nMonitor production run using measuring devices, such as, comparators, micrometers, calipers and various other inspection gauges.\n\nConducts performance tests on assembled product to ensure product is within customer and/or company specification requirements.\n\nPerforms rework and direct reworking of tooling as needed.\n\nLearn to meet and maintain all productivity levels and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.\n\nPerforms record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.\n\nWorks on miscellaneous projects as required.\n\nAssists co-workers as needed to complete projects or tasks.\n\nPerforms miscellaneous tasks as required.\nThe pay scale for this position ranges from $18.00- $29.86 an hour.\n\nQualifications\nLanguage Skills:\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\n\nMathematical Skills:\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\n\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Six (6) months training/experience in a manufacturing environment.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, and dependent upon the specific job performed, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and bend. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and/or occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
