Physician Assistant - Orthopedics

Hoboken, NJ based orthopedic practice is looking to add a full time Certified Physician Assistant.This position is a 50/50 split between the OR and clinic, primarily focusing on orthopedic spine cases. Previous experience in ortho is preferred or those that are highly proficient in the OR. Monday-Friday schedule, no weekend requirements.Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients- Prescribe medications and therapies- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease preventionQualifications:- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)- New Jersey Physician Assistant License- Ability to obtain New York PA-C License- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
