This role will be an integral part of the Energy Training team that manages the design, development, delivery and administration of relevant learning programs on behalf of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services’ (DCAS) Division of Energy Management. This program prepares City facilities personnel to make energy-smart decisions that assist the City of New York in meeting its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction goals. The program is designed to help facility professionals across City agencies envision a learning path specifically targeted to their professional and personnel development goals.\nThe Program Manager has an integral role in ensuring the effective management and delivery of the program’s portfolio of energy training offerings. As the program partners with more external industry experts and vendors to deliver training, this role emphasizes partnership management, operational coordination, and the strategic administration of learning solutions. The Program Manager ensures that training providers meet program standards, oversees processes that support smooth delivery across multiple modalities, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to align learning initiatives with City agency needs and energy‑management goals. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, coordinating program operations, supporting procurement and contracting processes, monitoring training performance, and ensuring a high‑quality learner experience. The Program Manager also supports energy management subject matter experts to successfully deliver instructor-led training through the online Learning Management System (“LMS”) to ensure successful completion of courses.
