We work in person in San Francisco's Financial District, five days a week.\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a founding iOS engineer to own the Town iOS app end-to-end and make the assistant feel native, fast, and trustworthy on Apple platforms.\nYou'll build the surfaces where people hand Town their work and watch it act on their behalf. This is a small team, so you'll really own it all end to end: architecture, performance, and polish. Most \"AI on iOS\" today is a webview wrapper around a chat box. That isn't the bar. The bar is: a user picks up their iPhone, Town does the thing they actually wanted, and it feels like Apple shipped it themselves.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the Town iOS app end-to-end — architecture, performance, and the details that make it feel native.\nBuild and ship new mobile experiences that let users intuitively and easily hand Town real work and see it done.\nRaise the bar on reliability, latency, and responsiveness across the app.\nWork closely with product, design, and backend to turn ambitious ideas into shipped features.\nYou might thrive here if you...\nHave experience building high-quality iOS applications in production.
